Franconia Ridge - 2 days / 1 nights
A New Hampshire classic! If you want to get four 4000’ peaks during a 2-day hiking trip which is easy to access, look no further than this adventure. Franconia Ridge is easy to get to and easy to access; parking is right off of I-93 and where you park is where you finish. Once on the ridge, this backpacking trip is loaded with views across the Pemigewasset Wilderness to the east, and the Kinsman Range to the west. After a night in a tent and dinner cooked on a camp stove, you’ll eventually reach the height of land at Mt. Lafayettte before descending back to Franconia Notch. Once in the valley, enjoy The Basin and The Flume attractions on your way back to your car and your trip home with a backpack full of memories.
